New Acquisition - The Friends have just purchased a letter written by George
Alfred Townsend, dated May 23, 1895.  The letter was written a Dr. Chaney and was asking about Reverend B. Booth and where he lived.  F.O.G. member John Frye, who operates the Maryland Room at the Washington County Library says that Rev. Booth, who lived at Delemere in Wash. Co., was a teacher as well as an Episcopal minister, and taught Benedict Arnold's children during the Revolutionary War.  The letter will be on display in the museum.
